The lower level of this house perched on a hill in Northern California was demolished and enlarged to create a family room, a guest room, and an office that open up to a beautiful stone patio and garden.
A new stone stair sweeps down from the street above to the entrance court. The front door opens to the living room where a vaulted ceiling and wall of glass were added to reveal breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay.
The interior boasts a range of fine hardwood cabinetry including anigre, english sycamore, and birdseye maple.
