Guilford Kitchen

Project Description

The back wall of this small cramped kitchen was removed and a steel beam was installed to allow for an 8′-deep addition. This allowed us to create a large kitchen with multiple work and hang-out zones for this three-generation family. The island has a cooking zone. The sink and dishwasher create a clean-up zone under the new windows. The island also has a seating area for the family to hang-out in the kitchen outside of either of these zones. Large new windows face north and bring in lots of soft natural light.
